The Wide Leg/Palazzo Movement!

RETRO FASHION is back ,like it never left baby!!!I am definitely loving it this season!!

"Wide legs" and "Bell Bottoms" are hot this season.Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are pictured rocking the look and it's hott. I love Kourtney's look more, such hotness!

A white shirt/blouse always adds magic to the ensemble effortlessly.
Blakey Lively never disappoints, spotted above rocking some coral wide leg pants. As for the fashion style in "Gossip Girl",Goodness me.Its a dream, impeccable beyond.
Olivia Palermo is looking fabulous in camel wide legs.
Who can deny that the 1970's fashion fashion was was on point, who? Our folks rocked this wide leg fashion trend in their time and we are now counting it as one of the fashion trends for 2011.This trend if worn well can give you the sophisticated, classy, chic, elegant and yet relaxed look.

If you didn't know,now you know.Do best!

Marchesa’s Fall 2011 Collection

Officially established in 2004,Marchesa has become a success and a force to reckon with and is a favorite among many celebrities and critics.  Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are reason behind the fabulous collections of Marchesa.
They have yet again blessed us with the Marchesa’s Fal 2011 collection. The collection was modeled on Wednesday, Feb 16,2011 in New York.

The collection was indeed breath taking and fit perfectly in the label’s signature. “Long gowns entwined with ruffles, fluffy feathered skirts, and the mandatory injections of draping silk and tulle. But this time around there was also a strong selection of super-short playful (yet still phenomenally detailed) dresses that the current set of young socialites and starlets will no doubt be jumping all over as red carpet fare.”

Describing the collection, “the dresses all exquisitely wrought this season with orientalist-inspired details: heavily bejeweled necklines, hand-painted florals on rolling sculptural drapes, and grand obilike loops that were revealed when a model turned.”

Chapman and Craig proved yet again that  they know how to knock them dead."Marchesa's fall 2011 collection-Ready to Wear"

Christian Dior Haute Couture- Spring Collection 2011

JOHN GALLIANO one of the most influential fashion designers of our time. Born in Gibraltar, he grew up in London and launched his own label before becoming chief designer of France's haute couture flagship, Christian Dior, in Paris.
It’s Haute Couture week again, John Galliano brings us Christian Dior's Spring/Summer '11 collection drawing inspiration from the renowned fashion illustrator René Gruau, an artist who became famous in the 1900s. John Galliano brought Gruau's drawings to life in his decadent interpretations offering beautiful, whimsical, feminine looks that remind you of classic Dior without replicating it outright.

American model Karlie Kloss ‘opened the Christian Dior show.

Describing the couture line, fashion analyst said, "Galliano evoked fashion illustration feel by reproducing the kind of shading one saw in mid-century illustration directly on the clothes themselves, so that many of the outfits are several shades of the same color, going from light to dark. We love the drama of the show, which was presented at the Musée Rodin on the Left Bank in Paris. We also love the rich red, and greens, as well as the greys and pale blues. A lovely and sophisticated palette. But mostly, we're just suckers for this kind of modern take on the glamorous and extremely feminine styles of the mid 20th Century".

Christian Dior Haute Couture  Spring/Summer ‘11 offer John Galliano 's whimsy in the form of pencil skirts, pleats, feather-embellished evening gowns, and vintage glamour. The color palette is rich with reds, greens, blues, and then pastel pink and yellow. It's fiercely feminine, as we'd expect, balancing outrageous volume with slim silhouettes; some is totally posh, more severe, then it softens — full of embellishment, oversize bows — to the all-out decadence of evening.
Almost  every colour was included from the deep reds that opened the show to nudes and neutral tones and dark greens, blues and the occasional pop of pink. The looks were retro fashion fantasy. Feast your eyes ;

JOHN GALLIANO ,what a fashion genius-Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2011 collection,I am swoon!
